I absolutely love where I get to call home! Many people think it's “too far out there” as in away from town and other amenities, however, that’s what makes it perfect for my family and myself. My favorite time of the day is the dawn. I love to see the different colors that God paints for us every day. I was driving my kids to school when I came around the corner in the road and was greeted by this vibrant sunrise. I checked all my surroundings and just stopped right in the middle of the road and got my camera out and got some shots. I felt the clash of color this morning was quite amazing to see. I must say I was hoping to get a great sunrise shot with Steamboat Rock perfectly centered in the most vibrant color, yet the sunrise just didn’t quite cooperate!
