As the years go by, I am growing an appreciation for what my Aunt calls skeletal trees. I use to see it as a dead or dying tree that should probably be cleaned up for the overall health of the stand of trees. I am now getting better at looking at them thru my artist's eyes and seeing the potential. Not to mention that an amazing sunrise brings it into clearer focus. This is one of my favorite skeletal trees because it is so perfectly placed to greet the dawn every morning. The taller branches reach for the remaining darkens in the sky as the lower branches embrace the coming dawn.
