Maybe I am a sucker for things of the old west, but old barns, cabins, bridges, and corrals are some of my favorites. Sometimes many of these are still in use and that is even more impressive to me. The day I got to take my camera for a walk and shoot these chutes and corrals all was quiet, all the cows were off in a different pasture even. The stillness made it all feel rather abounded even though it was on an active and working ranch. The chute just stands so unaffected by the elements waiting for the next time it is needed.
